Call 8-1-1 before you dig

I made the call to 8-1-1 and set the wheels in motion for pipeline and utility companies to clear or mark our building area for safety purposes. The ground anchors that will strap our portable building to the ground (engineered for 150 mph) could go as deep as 3 feet. Needless to say, we do not wish to hit any buried cables and pipes. Only Frontier Communications had flags and paint on the ground when I checked the site afterwards. Most companies simply sent me an email stating our area was clear of their operations. Good news all around.
