Our Mission
Providing Hospitality & Assistance to Every Crew That Visits Our Port
Point Comfort Seafarers Center exists to provide hospitality and assistance to the crews who visit our port. We share genuine friendship with every seafarer, honoring their personal values and beliefs along the way.
We became a registered 501(c)(3) in 2021 and continue to expand what we can offer: connectivity, comfort items, pastoral care, and simply a friendly face in a foreign port.
Ship Visits
Our volunteers go aboard visiting vessels to welcome crews, answer questions about our local area, and let them know help is close by.
Hospitality Center
Free Wi-Fi, books, magazines, billiards, and a quiet place to relax. The self-service area is open 24/7.
Pastoral Care
Catholic Mass and quiet spiritual support are available for seafarers of all faiths and backgrounds. Contact us to arrange for a mass onboard the vessel if timing allows.
